The City of Harriman is accepting applications for a part-time laborer for the Harriman Recreation Department. The applicant would assist in cleaning and maintaining parks, recreation facilities, and other associated grounds and buildings. The applicant would do a variety of grounds maintenance work; including mowing, weed eating, tree and shrub trimming, policing parks, preparing ball fields, and related beautification and maintenance projects.
Applicants must be able to operate a light-duty vehicle and perform minor construction, maintenance, and repairs to park facilities and buildings. The physical demands and environmental factors include walking, standing, climbing, bending, twisting, and turning, occasionally lifting up to 50lbs, and working outside in the heat.
